Merideth Leigh Beckert

Merideth Beckert is a passionate artist and entrepreneur who brings over two decades of creative experience to the Pittsburgh custom framing and photography scene. A 2003 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), she earned her Bachelor of Media & Performing arts, Design concentration. It was during her time at SCAD that Merideth discovered her love for photography—capturing emotion, light, and story through the lens became an extension of her artistic expression.

After college, Merideth’s creativity expanded into another direction: custom picture framing. She spent 15 years managing the custom framing department at a local JoAnn Fabrics, where she developed expert knowledge in archival framing techniques, design consultation, and the art of presentation. Her experience taught her the importance of preserving treasured memories and artwork with precision, care, and creativity.

Today, Merideth is proud to own and operate In The Frame – Custom Framing & Photography Studio in the Pittsburgh area.
