Take a gander at this goose! My customer’s beloved goose, Iris, had unfortunately passed away and commissioned this beautiful pastel portrait of her by @roxy_hester_fine_art We found the perfect frame, complete with a frilly detail to match Iris’ curly feathers and a soft blue mat that complimented her eyes. Absolutely love how this tribute to Iris turned out.

This tile is a great example of a souvenir brought back from vacation that needed a little something extra in order to really make it stand out. Did the Hartford Whalers ever win the Stanley Cup during their tenure as a hockey club? No. Has it been 28 years since they left my home state of Connecticut? Yes. Have those facts caused my love of the team (and especially Pucky, their whale mascot) to diminish? Absolutely not!
I always love working on jerseys but when this Whalers jersey came in I was overjoyed! We had to finesse the sleeves a bit to get Pucky to show (an absolute must!) and I think the final piece looks stunning! The second photo of my son’s reaction when seeing the jersey finished tells me it wasn’t my Whalers-loving bias that made me think it looks great. 😂
